OAC Ministries (Australia) is a parachurch organization, specializing in clear and entertaining presentations of The Good News of Christ. Our mix of methods, content, and personality, is sought after by camps, schools, aged care facilities and churches alike.

We are looking to further develop the work in Victoria, so that OACM is identified as a group that brings a spirit of love, faith and truth wherever we go. We have many outreach opportunities, a good committee, a handful of staff evangelists, numerous volunteers, and resources. We need a local leader to take the challenge of building the Victorian branch of OACM into the future. A staged initiation to the team and the role can be negotiated.

·      Managing a small team of outreach workers who each operate within different areas of  expertise

·      Raising financial and prayer support for your salary and for the  organization

·      Building and maintaining good working relationships with churches and other Christian  ministry organisations.

·      Discerning and implementing direction for the future of OACM Victoria.

·      The ideal candidate will be someone who:

·      has the passion and the skills for articulating the gospel, especially for  people who have not received it before

·      has ethical, cultural, and missionary sensitivity and  understanding

·      is in good standing with their local church here in  Australia

·      is a resident of Victoria with a working knowledge of Melbourne and rural  areas

·      is committed to a strong evangelical theology and worldview

·      has a background in theological/biblical study and some evangelistic ministry  experience

·      can lead, plan, act, and get things done

·      is able to work with and build up an existing team of diverse personalities  and gifts

·      dreams up fresh and effective ways of communicating the  gospel

·      has friends who will support them because they know it’s a perfect  fit

This is a part time position of approximately 3 days per week. It can, however, be combined with the work of an outreach worker into a full-time role.
