About the Position:

The Executive Assistant to Christian Union America and Christian Union New York provides dual-support to the Director of Christian Union America and Executive Director of Christian Union New York. It includes administrative, event, and project coordination, liaison between associates, donors, and other stakeholders and various other tasks as needed. The position requires versatility, strong administrative, interpersonal, and organizational skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Reports to: Director of Christian Union America

Location: Remote * but will include annual travel to a 5 day company wide conference each summer

Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Hourly Rate: $24/hour

Job Duties

  • Maintain both Directors’ schedule, which includes coordinating meetings via Zoom.
  • Maintain and update G-Suite based – activities, schedules, workplans, and other executive databases
  • Serve as liaison of communications for external and internal stakeholders
  • Collaboration and project management of ministry events, assisting in planning, recruiting, inviting and marketing events
  • Process monthly expense reports for both Directors
  • Assist in securing financial partnerships for the ministry, as directed by the Directors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, and a minimum of three years of executive-level professional experience.
  • Exceptional administrative track record of engaging all levels of staff, embracing change and encouraging colleagues to take initiative and lead by example.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills to include industry-standard software and cloud-based systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated tact and diplomacy in working with a wide variety of personalities. A high degree of professionalism, ethical sensitivity, and discretion; ability to maintain a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and meet challenging and changing deadlines.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to travel to annual summer conference.
